With the Count Down set to coincide with “World Parkinson’s Day” on Sunday, 11th April 2021, Race The Moon HQ will host virtual engagement opportunities and incentives throughout the lunar month of April as Challengers log miles before Tuesday, 11th May 2021.
Our Challengers will gather virtually on the 11th April 2021 to celebrate the birthday of James Parkinson, then on the 12th April 2021, the New Moon will mark the start of the Race The Moon challenge.
Our mission is to encourage people with Parkinson’s their families, and their friends, to #RaceAsOne, completing as many miles as they can, using the time to discover new and different sports and activities, whilst they #RaceTheMoon in a series of challenges that are out of this world.
Participants have 28 days, (we know it’s 27.32), the same as an average lunar cycle, to complete the cumulative challenge finishing 11th May 2020.
