What is Race The Moon?
Race The Moon is quite simply, “The Challenge That’s Out Of This World”, a cumulative mass participation fundraising event, where the focus is not on how fast, or how far you can go, but one where every ones contribution is recognised, valued and rewarded.
Here at Race The Moon HQ we are challenging a global community of runners, riders, wheelers and walkers, of all ages and abilities, those with and those without a disability, to unite, raise funds for charity and #RaceTheMoon.
Connect with us today and give the Moon a run for its money.
Remember every mile counts, there will be guest appearances, themed days and prizes to be won along the way.
Ultimately, it is #YourRaceYourPace so join the mission, choose a charity and #RaceTheMoon.
With the Count Down set to coincide with “World Parkinson’s Day” on Monday, 11th April 2022, Race The Moon HQ will host virtual engagement opportunities and incentives throughout the lunar month of April as Challengers log miles before Saturday, 16th May 2022.
Our Challengers will gather virtually on the 11th April 2022 to celebrate the birthday of James Parkinson, then on the 16th April 2022, the Full Moon will mark the start of the Race The Moon challenge.
Our mission is to encourage people with disabilities’ their families, and their friends, to #RaceAsOne, completing as many miles as they can, using the time to discover new and different sports and activities, whilst they #RaceTheMoon in a series of challenges that are out of this world.
Are you ready to #RaceTheMoon?
Challengers have 28 days, (we know it’s 29.53), the average full moon cycle, to complete the cumulative challenge finishing 16th May 2022.
